The Association of Fish & Wildlife Agencies Joins Together Outdoors, a DEI Coalition

October 20, 2021

Together Outdoors (TO), a coalition supported by the Outdoor Recreation Roundtable and comprised of businesses and organizations in the outdoor recreation industry committed to justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion (JEDI/DEI) in the outdoors, announced their membership, advisory and governance councils earlier today. The Association of Fish & Wildlife Agencies is proud to be one of the 70+ members of this robust coalition.

“The Association is looking forward to working alongside our fellow TO members as we commit to solutions for creating a more safe, welcoming, and inclusive outdoor experience for everyone,” said Tony Wasley, Director of the Nevada Department of Wildlife and President of the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies.  “We need to work together and change the narrative to meet the outdoor recreational needs of everyone.”
