The Association maintains more than 60 national committees, subcommittees and working groups composed of more than a thousand conservation experts from across the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Each committee is led by state, provincial or territorial fish and wildlife agency leaders appointed by AFWA's President. Committee members are nominated by their agency or organization director each year.
