In Memory of Jim Range

The conservation community lost a giant on January 20, 2009 with the passing of Jim Range. On behalf of the state fish and wildlife agencies that are entrusted with the conservation and management of the critters Jim loved, we mourn his untimely death but thank him for his years of dedicated service.

Jim was a master with a fly rod and a shotgun and enjoyed untold success and camaraderie with many in the fields and on the water. But more importantly, he gave far more than he took.
